Las Vegas NV, Jan 8 2015 Worlds are colliding. People and Consumer Electronics products from around this planet mesh for the week long show. But also, more and more personal communication and entertainment devices are gravitating and attaching to automobiles. No surprise then that the presence of automobilia seems to grow every year at CES, with autocraft serving as gadget frames, product demos, company banners, marketing fantasies and plain old eye candy.

The North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center in particular had a trainload of cars as center pieces or side dishes of exhibits. Cool cars prove to be good for business - they provide mass and shine to attract other devices which then force their holders to take and distribute photographs to more devices plugged into more cars. The machines have taken over - historians will have to look into all the hacked selfies to determine the moment of impact. CES 2017 - Jan 5-8.
