Canadian Hot Rods Magazine at Peach City Beach Cruise
Penticton BC, June 24 2018 - A couple of four-letter names are among the long term fixtures of the Canadian collector automobile scene. Each June they can be found together on the south shores of Lake Okanagan. The Peach City Beach Cruise has lighted said shores for 18 years now, summer hosting the finest cars and trucks this side of the continental divide.

Canadian Hot Rods Magazine has been in circulation for 13 years - avidly hauling a vendor tent and trailer full of stuff across Western Canada to meet and greet at key automotive events. Terry and Patty Denomme are long time attendees here; a hard working team that calls the Beach Cruise one of their favorite events. The Okanagan region is Canada's playground. Spectacular geographically and touristically, adding a strip of fantastically prepared automobiles is part genius and (sorry to say) just peachy.
Terry and Patty also launched Bone Stock and Modified Muscle Car Magazine in 2013 - a counter bookend to the Hot Rod-centric sister publication. In an era of diminished printed goods, the magazine has thrived on local market histories supported with proper writing and photography. "Our customers want to see Canadian cars and content, so that's what we put our focus on." The online site at www.canadianhotrods.com also provides a good mix of stories present and past but we especially love the natural surface reflected light (not projected screen) and interaction with a hard product.
Here's predicting Special Car Store will see more of these names in the future - starting with catching up reading some old issues.
