The Friends of Steve McQueen Car Show: Passion Accessories

The Friends of Steve McQueen Car and Motorcycle Show has accomplished a lot in 12 years of presentation. True to the motto of the Boys Republic (century old Chino Hills California youth rescue mission) of "Nothing Without Labor" - the staff and Friends exemplify the term labor of love.

Passion is the currency of success - one thing you consistently witness from everyone attached to the project is a sincere and deep level of passion. Everything is "for the boys" and that drives a lot of goods and good will towards the Boys Republic.

For some, this is not a new fad - notable automotive luminaries such as Dave Kunz, Ron Harris, Matt Stone, Brad Boyle, Don Ince etc. are accessories to the success. They have tilled the fields here from the early days - now that the event is near famous, you can feel their pride in what has become of it.

That passion seeps through to an audience that loves the backstory and ties to Steve McQueen - the original Boys passionator. A large number of benevolent followers show their appreciation with their checkbooks - gifting $560,000 for the 2019 efforts.
