March toward sustainability

My Desert, Feb 23 2013 - There are things we can do to take advantage of the unique resources of the desert to reduce emissions. We can convert that wind that blows through the pass into electric power. We can also harness the sun that shines an average of 354 days a year. And with strong regional leadership, thanks to the Coachella Valley Association of Governments and the Coachella Valley Economic Partnership, we can make it easier to drive electric vehicles.
