McCormick Palm Springs Car Auction 67 Sells Cadillac Restored for TV Show

Palm Springs CA, Nov 20 2019 - A total of 330 vehicles sold at the Nov. 22-24 Collector Car Auction in downtown Palm Springs with a total of 522 vehicles crossing the auction block, a healthy 65% sale rate and above the national average for a reserve auction.
1958 Lincoln Continental Mark III Convertible high bid $43,000
Jason McCormick, manager, said “Sales were brisk and attendance was high, thanks to sunny skies, warm weather and a wide variety of cars and trucks.”
A 1961Cadillac Coupe deVille owned by Danny “The Count” Koker, star of the History Channel TV show “Counting Cars,” sold for $63,000. The classic car, its restoration and sale, will be featured on the TV series during the new season beginning in February.
1940 Ford F100 Pickup sold $15,900
1953 Chevrolet Pickup Truck high bid $37,000
1966 Volkswagen Bus Electric sold $42,400
Also notable was a 1966 Shelby Cobra CSX4236 that topped out at $153,700 in competitive bidding.
1955 Oldsmobile 88 2 Door H/T sold $19,080
A 1970 Oldsmobile 442 W30 (Lot #364) sold for $69,960.
1975 Triumph TR6 sold $14,310
