Portola Hotel & Spa, Aug 23 2016- RM Sotheby’s Monterey sale, August 19 – 20, was another resounding success, achieving a remarkable $117.9 million in auction and post-auction private sales with 82 percent of all lots sold. The two-evening sale saw a number of fresh-to-market, blue-chip motor cars establish new world auction records and a tremendous 21 lots achieve individual million-dollar-plus results.
